Release 0.1.127 is live for the Windows client and dedicated server. Blackmoor has taken another step from simple building volumes toward a town you can explore: more recognizable landmarks, rooms inside the buildings, connected footpaths, and residents with places to go.
The pictures below are actual Unity captures of the town’s greybox development build. They show layout, scale and early architectural detail; materials, lighting and environmental art are still in development.

From concept sheets to streets and rooms
Forty reference sheets now guide Blackmoor’s architecture and public spaces. This pass brings together 19 main reference buildings, 12 additional locations placed into vacant parcels, five public spaces, 20 upgraded homes and a larger Victorian residence. Existing lot sizes guide the footprints, with doorways and circulation sized for the character.
The additions include the Grand Bank, Home & Hearth, Fuel & Provisions, Lakeside Casino and fishing cabin. Interiors include room layouts, stairs and placeholder furnishings. The town square, market, park, docks and cemetery also have dedicated spaces and access routes.

Sidewalks that lead somewhere
Building entrance paths now connect to the sidewalk network, including homes and public destinations. Suburban loops and the lakeside road join the district streets. Thirteen intersections received connected road and sidewalk surfaces, clearer corners and crossings, with stop signs or signals and street lighting.

A daily routine for Blackmoor’s residents
The town’s 27 residents retain their identities and existing home assignments. Their routines take them between homes, workplaces and errands, then back home for the night. Job destinations now sit inside the corresponding buildings. Where a long direct route cannot be completed, residents can travel through an authored intermediate stop while continuing toward their actual destination.
Trailer and vehicle interaction fixes
Hitch targeting and prompts have been improved, and vehicle owner information appears inside the interaction prompt. Coupled trailers now articulate through a physics joint. Unhitching releases the trailer at its current position and preserves its motion instead of using cargo-drop placement.
Checked before publication
This release passed 170 targeted regression tests and navigation/clearance checks at 202 sampled entrances, rooms, landings and destinations. The final server build also passed two world load/unload cycles. Matching client and server builds are deployed, signed download files verify correctly, and live launcher sign-in reaches character selection.
These checks give us a useful baseline; they are not a full multiplayer playtest or a client frame-rate benchmark. Update through the Hexxen launcher and explore the new town. Reports of blocked doors, awkward crossings, stuck residents or trailer problems are especially useful—include the location and a screenshot when you can.
